Smallmouth black bass of Big Green Lake keep fishermen occupied when lake and rainbow trout are “off their fee.” Big Green, deepest lake in the state, is in Green Lake County. Verne Hacker, biologist from Oshkosh, says the lake has the greatest potential of any lake in the state. The above picture is of Ray Walker, Green Lake guide.
