We have found 5 new cards that we added to the web page. The Mitchell’s Glen card is really cool as it is a personal photo that was printed on a post card back. I wonder how many cool cards like this are just sitting around, since most of the time people did not take the time to identify images like these.
I actually purchased a reproduction card of Sherwood Forest, It looked really cool and I was kind of interested in how it would look. It is not the best and it is kind of light, I would not buy one again from this seller.
The highlighted card is a winter view of the dam with Hill Street in the background. The old apartment is clearly seen in the larger image.

Here is a real photo post card of the end of the falls at Mitchell’s Glen. Back in the early 1900’s you could have your photos printed on postcard paper so you could mail views of your trip to friends and family.

This view from Sandstone Bluff is one that I had not seen before. Trying to picture this view and it really does not look like this at all anymore. There are many new houses along the White Sails area, the view has changed significantly.

I normally do not mess with reproductions, but this view was really interesting. The description says it is East of Sherwood Forest and it shows a couple of the cottages that are part of the Sherwood Forest compound.
