Sala-ku-shid, Totem with sun on top was carved with stone hatchets by Alaskan Indians from a cedar log three feet thick and forty feet long, more than two hundred fifty years ago. It memorialized the visit of Klis-a-ta-giki to his father who lived in the sky and carried the sun across the heavens each day.
