Indian Village area
In 1946 the J. L Krafts donated funds to the Northern Baptist Assembly to create the area known as the Indian Village. Many additions have been made to area since then. The buildings shown in these postcard images are in disrepair and the area is now used use for the maintenance department.

Buildings in the vicinity of the Indian Village
Morehouse Hall was originally the Lawsons Garage and would become the Casino during the Lawsonia Country Club time. It has been used as the Main Assembly Hall and Chapel where Sunday and daily services are held.
The Old Jersey barn became the John Clark Lodge. Dormers were added and developed into a large residence building.
Now called Hillside, the old pigeon house was converted into an 8-bedroom accommodation for women staff members.
The three gardener’s houses were connected and became known as Brayton Case Hall. Meeting rooms and exhibit halls were added; rooms were used for a bookstore and gift shop.
